Antique early 1920s coat made of black Ottoman silk and lined with silk satin.

The coat is decorated with machine embroidery and fastens on a large button. It has a shawl collar with two long loose embroidered ends that can be  worn in few different ways.

The coat was originally fully machine sewn with cotton thread; most seams needed to be reassembled as the cotton thread was tearing from old age.

The garment bears no label nor marks of the original owner or its maker.

The fabric is in excellent condition except from some moth holes.

Probably of British origin.
